The first time I went to a friend’s house in a new city, I found myself with a ton of people I knew from work. Facebook = tons of people.
Then Facebook removed the option to remove friends from your friends list. Then they added another way to do it through the My Friends tab. Then they took that one away. Then you could do it by searching for the city and choosing “friends.” Then that one went. [sigh]
I gave up. Facebook = tons of people.

This will find friends in that city who list that name as their current city.
It’s a pain in the neck to type in the name of a city I am traveling to, but it’s worth it because this will find my friends in that city as well.
