Is Marais a good area to stay in Paris?
We love Marais. The diversity of the area makes us feel like we’re in the movies. The Pantheon was our favorite part of the city and we plan to make another visit in the spring. If you’re looking to rent a car, you should seriously consider doing a visit to Paris – it’s cheap, it’s easy, and it’s central with many metro lines.
Marseille is a great outlying neighborhood to stay in. The Romanesque-era Saint-Germain area is gorgeous and a nice outlying neighborhood for tourists. The Tuileries are a nice outlying neighborhood with some cool bars and cafés. The area around Place de la Bastille and further east is home to a lot of students and artists. The area around Galeries Lafayette and Prada is also very central and a great outlying neighborhood. In the summer, the Duperré is a fun outdoor activity for the entire city.
What are some good bars in Marseille? We’ve tried both the pub in Saint-Germain and the excellent bar in the new Consulate. Both seem nice and have good music and events. Do you have an opening in mind?
I have an opening in mind for Marseille in the first week of August.

You’d be wise to book with reputable agencies as they are the ones who will be responsible for you and your belongings. The Paris Tourism board is a good place to start. They are there to protect the city and to promote tourism in general. You can visit their website – tourism.fr – for more information.
What is the best way to get to Marais from the suburbs? I’m thinking of getting an airport shuttle, but don’t forget about the 20-30 min walk to the
What are the best bookstores to visit in Paris? I love to collect some classic books whenever I travel.
The best bookstores to visit in Paris are those that are on the National Seine. These include Shakespeare and Company on the first floor, National Ballet on the second and the newly renovated Hotel de Ville on the third. Bookstores that are newly renovated or that have been converted to apartments are particularly popular. They are also located near the metro, so you will be very close to the metro if you’re planning to use it. Hi Dave. Planning a trip to Paris last week of June, first week of Aug or Sept.

Is Marais a good area to stay in Paris?
There are a few different ways to put it. You can be in the Michelin 25th or the Stabilite Galeries Lafayette. These hotels have some of the best views of the city and have some of the cheapest accommodation rates. The Stabilite has an amazing hotel room rate of 50 EUR and an incredible breakfast of
Marais is a great hotelier’s district and has a lot of great hotels in it. The Marais Hotel & Motel is a great hotel in this area and has a nice hotel room rate of 50 EUR. There are also some great minibar stores and some great restaurants. Having said that, there is a huge amount of nightlife in Paris and it can be dangerous at times. If you have any sense at all, you should go out and buy a hotel ticket in an outside window of a hotel. Otherwise, there is an awful lot of corruption going on in this area and it will get worse the closer you get to the center of the city.
What is the best way to get around in a week? I plan to do some sightseeing in Paris after visiting Paris in the first week of June. Any ideas?
There are so many options! You can walk everywhere, but some of the more historic areas like Notre Dame and the Tuileries are very walkable and can be a little more challenging if you want to walk everywhere.
