What age do you stop using a buggy? I’m thinking between 3 and 4.5 is probably the limit for me.

I stopped using my buggy about 3.5. Also, my kids stopped napping in the morning. My DS had no problem getting to and from the shops, even if it was in a buggy, he could walk a long way and still nuzzle happily when nappy was removed.

I will use mine as long as they need it. DS has low muscle tone and hypermobility and I’ve had to use the buggy very little as he has good muscle tone and balance and finds napping very endearing.

i say that mainly because my eldest son was 3 and a half and I did find that the extra legroom in the double buggy (which we always use) made shopping much, much easier.
I would say the opposite is true. With my 2nd son, we did get a double buggy, but only on occasion (ie, when I needed to walk a long distance in a group). It really was only as far as a double cart, and it was very narrow. DS would happily go in the buggy even when it was only on short trips.

We’ve gone from using a 30 day per child policy to a one-off if we need to go somewhere far away (eg, moors, beach etc). It’s mostly because we’re not big kids and don’t have the stamina to walk miles in a day.

I use mine almost exclusively now, and they are EXTREMELY capable, especially at high speeds.

Do you have a great way to share your creations with your friends?

I do!

I’m on Ravelry/Facebook group ‘My Little Pony’ and everyone likes to see my stuff!

I have a friend who’s dad is a professional photographer and he’ll take all his daughter’s pictures when she’s not using theirs – really, it’s the perfect thing in my book. He’s never happier than when he’s taking pictures of his daughter’s new shoes!

I have a 5 yr old at the moment who is absolutely adored by her siblings and I have no problem with this at all!

I have a 4.5 y/o/female twin and I have always hated buggies! They were always pushing me around in school and I’d always get run down by them.

I think everyone should be able to walk where they please, whether that be to the shops, to the park, or wherever they please.  For most people, the idea of pushing a buggy around all the time isn’t appealing.
