What do you put in a kids Easter basket?

What do you put in a kids Easter basket?”sadly”sadly not much. But there are so many things we put in there that are fun to put in there and forget about. For my son’s birthday I put him through a little bit of a ruse as well’treating it like he did was actually quite a good idea. He’s getting some candy but not much else. He’s getting a small toy car and we are hoping to have some of that in his basket.
We try to limit the amount of candy we put in the baskets so he gets a little bit of candy in his baskets but not much. He’s getting more of a variety of foods and treats in his baskets.
He has been asking for these baskets for a while now but they are just plastic baskets and he has not been able to get them to him yet. He can buy more variety in his baskets and we hope to do this year by year until he can get a basket with as little candy as he likes. Thanks for the ideas

Get out of Jail Free Slips. Ok so really it would be little slipping hidden in plastic easter eggs with things like “Get out of doing dishes today” or “Mom helps you clean your room today” type slips.
Get out of doing chores today.
slips that get them out of doing chores or offers your help on select chores. Have dates written on them so the tasks can be easily fit into your schedule, or have your kid redeem them like a coupon. Which ever works best for your household.

What do you put in a kids Easter basket?”s okay, dad helps you find them”s okay too.”
Yeah, we saw those “knock offs” on the news a few days ago. The whole thing is just silly. I mean REALLY. Anyone that has ever had a Kinder Egg knows they really aren’t a choking hazard unless you are completely clueless. These knock offs just won’t be the same, They don’t use the same chocolate. That was my second favorite part.
We usually do a lot of candy. In the past couple years we have scaled back our Easter baskets because it was starting to be like a mini Christmas where the kids got toys and such. But it is fun to give small things in their baskets. Thank you for the non candy ideas!
I don’t know what Radz are but I”m off to find out. my kids get SOME candy but not much. like you it gets wasted. mine are each getting a frozen sparkle doll- he’s getting kristoff, girls are getting anna and elsa and hopefully the bunny will remember who likes which girl more ?
I really love the Color Wonder idea for Easter. I have not ever bought these products but for Easter when all the kids are in their fancy clothes, this is the PERFECT time to try them out! Never heard of RADZ either….gotta check them out.

What do you put in a kids Easter basket?”s okay, dad helps with that & me helps clean it up. Be sure to ask your kid about them when they grow up.
When is the last time you washed your kid’s clothes in these baskets?”s been for a while. A few days now, but tomorrow they’ll likely be swimming and doing yoga in them. J is even hoping to get a basket with kristoff and dollhouse in it. ♥

Those are awesome ideas! It’s been a while, but they’s already hard-boiled. Thanks for sharing the basket ideas!
We always tried when our kids were growing up to make age appropriate baskets. But they’ve got plenty of toys to give them a run for their money, so ours were designed to beof toys. So be sure to enjoy a good variety when your kids are making baskets.
This is a great idea. We try to limit the amount of candy we put in the baskets so that’s what we do. It’s been a while, but we’m off to find a partner who does a lot of candy. Thanks again for the ideas.
